Our Creative Writing faculty contends that artists should dedicate themselves to discovery rather than to the proliferation of doctrine, and that a writer's beliefs can endow the discovery process with passion and honesty, which can transform mere entertainment into art.
Our Counseling program emphasizes narrative therapy, which shows our students how to guide people in drafting and revising their autobiographies, in the process recognizing the spiritual dimensions and the emotional trajectories of their lives.
We welcome students of any creed or persuasion, especially those willing to deepen their understanding of Biblical faith. We encourage our students to seek guidance from the Spirit, whether or not they choose to frame the search in a Christian context.
